Photography can provide a relaxing way to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Photographers learn to notice their surroundings more than the average person. This clinic will support veterans in discovering photography with the camaraderie of fellow veterans. Limited number of loaner cameras available for participants.
This event will be limited to 20 veterans and 5 volunteer photo guides. The day will consist of getting to know your camera and hands on photography.

Larry Mathis- Army veteran Larry Mathis served with the 221st Signal Company during the Vietnam war with his primary job of recording the history of the war as a photographer. Later he joined the NC National Guard as a photographer with the 1132D Signal Company out of Siler City.
Allen Bodenheimer-Grandson of a Marine and father to an Airman, Allen is a self taught photographer in Thomasville specializing in location photography for individual and family portraits. You can check out his portfolio at www.allenbodenheimerphotography.com
David Yemm- Air Force veteran David Yemm started his military career as an electronic warfare systems specialist on B-52G aircraft before spending time in the reserves as a structural maintenance specialist. After expanding his hobby into a small business, David has spent several years giving back to veterans with free portrait sessions during Memorial Day and Veterans Day events.
